Taekwondo is not only a great form of self defense, but also a fun way to build self confidence! In this course, we will focus on the basics of Taekwondo by breaking it into its core parts: Tae (strike with the fist), Kwon (strike with the foot), and Do (self control). Proper hand and foot positioning will help build self awareness and concentration. Teamwork will play a large role, with partner paddle drills and one-step sparring. This will be a fun and challenging course, blending both the controlled and the dynamic movements of Taekwondo. Taught by Jessi Rodriguez.
